I’m starting to get into the nesting stage of my pregnancy. I love this stage. It’s a cozy and warm time for me. Preparing for baby to arrive so things can feel peaceful and calm at home. My nesting stage has begun with my bedroom. I want to make this room feel inviting and warm somewhere for mommy and baby to be. I’m not nearly done with this space but I wanted to share with you the process. All links of similar inspiration will be added below.
The first thing on my to-do list for my bedroom was to add some beautiful curtains over my bed. I decided to take the firsts steps and make all my bedroom dreams come true. I feel like a queen when I lay there in bed, haha! I purchased my curtains at a local fabric store here in Mexico. I will add links below to something similar.
My bed is custom made from a local carpenter but I got my inspiration from restoration hardware. The two images below are from Restoration Hardware.
My bedspread is from Target. I love it! It has held up so well and I love how dark it is so it doesn’t look dirty. Add some pillows to add depth and texture and bam! Also adding an art piece can make the room feel expensive and original.
